ACML 2026 will be held from 1–4 December 2026 at RMIT University’s Swanston Academic Building (SAB), Building 80, in the heart of Melbourne’s central business district.

The Swanston Academic Building sits on the corner of Swanston Street and A’Beckett Street on RMIT’s City campus, and is easily recognised by its distinctive angular, multi-coloured façade. The building offers lecture theatres, seminar rooms and open social spaces, all within walking distance of hotels, restaurants, shops and cultural attractions.
Getting There
By tram: Many tram routes run along Swanston Street. The closest stop is Stop 7 (RMIT University), right outside the building.
Note: RMIT Building 80 is just outside the Free Tram Zone. To travel for free, get off at Stop 8 (Melbourne Central / Swanston Street), the last stop inside the zone, and walk about 100 metres north along Swanston Street to the venue. If you ride to Stop 7, you must touch on with a valid myki card to avoid a fine.

By train: Melbourne Central Station is a short walk away, at the corner of Swanston and La Trobe Streets.
From Melbourne Airport (MEL): The airport is about 25 km from the city. The SkyBus express service runs frequently to Southern Cross Station, from where you can take a tram or train to the venue. Taxis and rideshare services are also available.
